Do you currently, or did you play a wind or percussion instrument in the past? Is your instrument in good working order, and can it be brought into tune to A=440? Are you interested in getting back into performing high-quality concerts with a group of local musicians in a spirit of collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie?

If so, please contact us using the button on this web page, to enquire about the possibility of joining us.

If you read the biographies of current members, you will see that we have come from a wide variety of backgrounds, to arrive at this place together that we call the Bluewater Wind Ensemble.

We are currently working at level 3-4 (intermediate) ensemble music, and will slowly and gradually grow and develop together as individuals and as an ensemble. We are looking for reliable, committed, enthusiastic members who are able to attend 80% of regular Thursday evening rehearsals and 100% of dress rehearsals and concerts (Thursday evenings and/or Sunday afternoons). We also encourage new members to be prepared to give it a full year to allow themselves to gradually get comfortable playing with a group such as this.

If this appeals to you, please contact us to discuss the possibility of joining us.
